Barker HR has made a strategic decision in recognising the importance of utilising external expertise in candidate evaluation processes. Our partnership arrangements with Lee Hecht Harrison in Candidate Assessments has enabled us to confidently assess applications on behalf of our clients.

Lee Hecht Harrison is a global leader in human capital solutions, with over 240 offices in 36 countries. Their Organisational Psychologists are able to provide an objective opinion on a candidate's suitability for a given position to complement data gained via selection interview, reference checking, appraisal of track record, and other assessment methods.

Test data when used in concert with these other methodologies increases the likelihood of a successful selection decision being made, and sheds light on specific areas to explore with referees, and to investigate in detail with candidates at second interview.

Reports also highlight key developmental and motivational requirements of each candidate, thereby increasing the likelihood of the "marriage" between an organisation and the successful candidate working out once made.
